I would like please inquire as possible to arrange a visa for citizens of the Italian Republic, who will travel to Cape Verde.
What is needed?
And how can visa be equipped?
How much is the fee?
Do the visas have to be equipped in advance?
Or is it possible even after arriving at the Cape Verde airport (Sal Island)?
The trip is for tourism and its duration is 13 days.

Thank you, but the concrete answer to whether Italian citizens need visas for Cape Verde Islands is not here.
As far as we know, they need and can buy them at the airport for EUR 25.
But here you are writing that in 2018 visa for citizens from EU countries is not required.
What is the reality then?

Myself and my partner are traveling to Cape Verde Boa Vista Island from the UK the 25th December till the 1st March 2019 total of 66 days can we get a visa for the full amount of days before we leave the uk? We are on flight only with TUI but have booked hotel for our stay separately, I understand you can get a visa at the airport on arrival but how many days is this valid for?

  A tourist visa is valid for a maximum of 30 days, however you can prolong it during your stay on Boavista. You can do this at a police station or the Direcção de Emigração e Fronteiras.

  As of 1 January citizens from the European Union do not need a short stay visa for a short stay (30 days) anymore. If you are staying longer you can obtain the visa on arrival.

My wife and I are holidaying in Cape Verde from 03/12/2025 to 10/12/2025.
My wife’s uk passport was issued on 8th Jan 2106 and has an expiry date of 8th June 2026.
My understanding is that because our entry date is 6 months and 5 days before expiry ( even though it will be 2 days less than 6 months on departure) - the passport is still valid for our planned vacation.
Please could you confirm this is correct as we don’t want any issues when we arrive for our vacation.

  According to the rules to enter Cape Verde your passport must have an expiry date at least 6 months after the date you arrive. Legally speaking, you appear to meet the commonly stated requirement, but there is a small risk of an issue. To be extra safe, it may be wise to renew the passport before travel if possible or consult the embassy.

  -Vaccinations: please see our page about Vaccinations. No vaccines are required if travelling from the UK. Recommended: routine UK vaccines, Hepatitis A and Tetanus.
  -Repeat medications: carry medicines in original packaging plus a doctor’s letter or copy of your prescription. Keep them in hand luggage.

From the changes came in effect from 1st January 2026 on arrival visa has been suspended but India is not on the list.

I am writing to request clarification regarding entry requirements for Cape Verde for an upcoming holiday.
I have booked a package holiday with Loveholidays for travel to Cape Verde from 24 August to 7 September this year. I will be travelling with my two daughters.

  Your daughters with Greek passports do not need a visa, but you will need a visa as an Albanian passport holder. Everyone must complete the EASE pre-registration before travelling. There is also an airport security tax of around €31 per person, which is often included if you have booked a package holiday . Make sure all passports are valid for at least 6 months and that you have proof of accommodation and return tickets. You can also always double-check the requirements with the provider you have booked a package holiday with.
