For the winter season 2025/2026, EasyJet is planning no fewer than six new routes to various islands within the Cape Verde archipelago. With this expansion, the airline responds to the growing demand for winter sun destinations and the increasing popularity of Cape Verde among European travellers.
In addition to the previously announced connection between Manchester and Sal, several new flights will be added from Italy and Portugal, with frequencies ranging from one to three times per week. All routes will be operated with an Airbus A320.
New EasyJet routes to Cape Verde
From Italy
Milan Malpensa – Ilha do Sal (SID)
This route connects Northern Italy directly with Cape Verde’s most popular tourist island.
From Portugal
Portugal is becoming an important hub within easyJet’s Cape Verde network, with new connections to three different islands:
- Lisbon – Boa Vista (BVC)
- Lisbon – Praia (RAI)
- Lisbon – São Vicente (VXE)
- Porto – Boa Vista (BVC)
- Porto – Praia (RAI)
From the United Kingdom
Manchester – Ilha do Sal (SID)
This route marks the first time a major British low-cost carrier will regularly serve Sal.
